Build a Face. Name the Feeling. Understand the Heart.
What does “pleased” look like? Let them build it.
The Kukoo™ Emotion Matching Face Puzzle turns abstract feelings into something they can touch, arrange, and understand. A beautiful round wooden face board holds interchangeable pieces—hair, eyebrows, eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth—each spinning on little pegs. Flip a challenge card, see the emotion, then rotate and arrange each feature until the face matches perfectly.
Soft, modern colors—gray wavy hair, teal eyes, purple nose, coral lips, yellow rosy cheeks with playful swirls—create faces that feel artistic, not cartoonish. Each piece rotates to change the expression. Eyebrows up means surprised. Eyebrows down means angry. Mouth curved up means happy. Suddenly, they’re learning to read faces—a skill that shapes every human connection they’ll ever have.
This isn’t just a puzzle. It’s an emotional literacy tool disguised as beautiful play. Match the cards or create their own expressions. Either way, they’re building the vocabulary of feelings.
Make a face! Bring home the ‘Emotion Matching Face Puzzle’ and watch empathy grow.
Why Parents (and Little Face Readers) Love It:
🎨 Modern, Beautiful Design: Soft Scandinavian-style colors make this puzzle a playroom showpiece. No garish primary colors here.
🔄 Rotating Pieces: Hair, eyebrows, eyes, nose, cheeks, and mouth all spin to create different expressions. Endless combinations possible.
😊😢😠 Emotion Vocabulary: Challenge cards label each feeling—pleased, sad, angry, surprised—building the words they need to express themselves.
🧩 Fine Motor + Emotional Learning: Rotating small pieces builds finger control while matching expressions builds emotional intelligence.
🪞 Mirror to Self: “Can you make your face look like this?” Connecting the puzzle to their own expressions deepens understanding.
How to Play: The Face Builder
1. Free Creation (Beginner): Let them spin and arrange pieces freely. What kind of face did they make? “That face looks silly! That face looks sleepy!”
2. Card Matching (Intermediate): Flip a challenge card. “This face is PLEASED.” Can they rotate all the pieces to match the picture exactly?
3. Name the Emotion (Learning): Before matching, ask: “What do you think this face is feeling? Why do you think so?” Builds observation and reasoning skills.
4. Make Your Feeling (Expression): “How do YOU feel right now? Can you build that face?” Connects the puzzle to their own emotional awareness.
5. Guess My Face (Social): One person builds an expression, the other guesses the emotion. Take turns and see who can stump who!
