At first, my daughter had a tough time figuring out what goes where. After a few times playing it with her, she started to figure out that the shapes only fit into specific holes. She plays with it all the time and it keeps her entertained. I like that I can play it with her and we like to name the shapes. I know she doesn't understand yet, but I like counting the corners of the shapes with her. She does like me to "help" her maneuver the shapes so that they fit into the holes. Really great for hand-eye coordination! Very happy with this product.
