How to Play: The Math Toolbox

1. Stick Counting (Beginner): Grab a handful of counting sticks. Sort by color. Count each group. “How many red? How many blue? How many altogether?”

2. Clock Time (Beginner): Move the frog clock hands. “This is 3 o’clock—snack time! This is 7 o’clock—bedtime!” Connects numbers to daily life.

3. Build an Equation (Intermediate): Slot tiles into the display: “4 + 5 = ?” Use counting sticks to find the answer, then place the “9” tile.

4. Show Me the Number (Challenge): Call out a number. “Show me 12 with sticks!” They grab and count to build it physically.
