At Kukoo Montessori, we select every wooden toy with the intention of sparking joy and curiosity in your child’s life. However, as parents ourselves, we know that sometimes a purchase might not be the perfect fit.
We strive to keep our return process simple, fair, and transparent.
📦 1. Our Return Window
30-Day Risk-Free Return Policy
At Kukoo Montessori, your satisfaction is our priority. We offer a 30-day return window from the date your package is delivered. Whether you changed your mind or simply aren’t in love with the product, you may request a return for a full refund—even for personalized items.
Please note: If 30 days have gone by since your delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. For information about delivery timeframes and tracking, please see our Shipping Policy
📋 2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return on standard items:
The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
It must be in the original packaging (please do not discard the box until you are sure you’re keeping the toy).
You must have the receipt or proof of purchase (your Order Number is sufficient).
Non-returnable items:
Gift cards.
Downloadable software products (e.g., printable Montessori guides).
Items bought on “Final Sale” or “Clearance.”
💔 3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We take great pride in our craftsmanship, but mistakes or shipping accidents can happen.
If we made an error (e.g., wrong item sent, misspelling by us):
We will send you a free replacement immediately.
You do not need to return the wrong item (feel free to donate it).
If the item arrived damaged:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

A clear photo of the damage.
We will issue a full refund or send a replacement—your choice.
Note on Wood Characteristics: Wood is a natural material. Small variations in grain, knots, or texture are not considered defects; they are proof that the toy is made from real, solid wood.
↩️ 4. How to Initiate a Return
If your return meets the criteria in Section 1 & 2, please follow these steps:
Email Us: Contact [email protected] with the subject line “RETURN REQUEST – Order #[Your Number]”.
Approval: We will review your request within 1 business day. If approved, we will provide you with the Return Shipping Address.
Pack & Ship: Pack the item securely. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item (unless the item is defective).
Tip: We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
💸 5. Refunds (If Applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse:
Notification: We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Approval/Rejection: We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the item.
Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.).
Timeline: Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
🌍 6. International Returns
For our customers outside the US:
The return process is the same (30-day window).
Please note that return shipping costs from international locations can be high and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Customs duties and taxes paid at the time of delivery are generally non-refundable by Kukoo Montessori, as these go directly to your local government.

We do not offer direct exchanges. Please review your order details (color, size, personalization) carefully before checking out.
