At Kukoo Montessori, we know that waiting for a package is often the hardest part—especially when there is a little one eagerly waiting for a new toy. We are committed to getting your order to you as quickly and safely as possible.

Below, you will find everything you need to know about how we prepare, pack, and ship your premium wooden toys.

🌎 1. Where We Ship

We are happy to send our Montessori toys to families around the globe.

  • 🇺🇸 United States (Primary Market): We ship to all 50 states, including P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

  • 🌍 International: We ship to most countries worldwide (Canada, UK, Australia, EU, etc.).

    • Note: If you live in a remote area, please Contact Us before ordering to confirm we can reach you.

⏱️ 2. Processing Time (Crafting Your Order)

Before your order is handed to the shipping carrier, it needs to be picked, inspected, and packed. Because some of our items are custom-made, processing times vary:

  • Time: 3 – 5 business days.

  • Process: Design setup → Laser engraving → Sanding & Finishing → Quality check → Packing.

  • Why longer? We want to ensure the engraving is deep, smooth, and perfect for your child’s hands.

Note: During peak seasons (November & December), processing may take an additional 2-3 days due to high volume.

🚚 3. Shipping Estimates & Costs

Once your order leaves our warehouse, here is when you can expect it to arrive.

🇺🇸 For US Orders:

Standard Shipping | 7 – 15 Business Days

🌍 For International Orders:

Standard International | 10 – 25 Business Days | Calculated by weight | |

Please Note: These are estimates provided by our carriers (USPS, DHL, FedEx). Weather, customs, or holidays can sometimes cause delays. Once delivered, our Refund and Returns Policy provides a 30-day return window from the delivery date.

📦 4. Order Tracking

We believe in transparency. You should always know where your package is.

  1. Shipping Confirmation: As soon as your label is printed, you will receive an email with your Tracking Number.

  2. How to Track: You can click the link in your email or visit our Track Order page.

  3. Missing Update? It is normal for tracking to take 24-48 hours to update after the label is created. If it hasn’t moved in 5 days, please let us know.

🛂 5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • For US Customers: Good news! Orders under $800 usually enter the US duty-free. You typically won’t pay any extra fees upon delivery.

  • For International Customers: Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are collected by your local carrier upon delivery. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be.

📍 6. Address Changes

Did autofill put in your old address? It happens!

  • Within 24 Hours: Please email us immediately at [email protected]. If the order hasn’t shipped, we can update it for free.

  • After Shipping: Once the package is with the carrier, we cannot change the destination. You may need to contact the carrier directly to request a package intercept (fees may apply).

💔 7. Lost or Damaged Packages

We pack our wooden toys with extra padding to survive the journey, but accidents can happen.

My item arrived damaged: We are so sorry! Please email us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. A photo of the broken item and the packaging. We will send a replacement immediately at no cost to you. For more details on our replacement and refund process, please see our Refund and Returns Policy

My package is lost: If your tracking says “Delivered” but you don’t have it, please check with neighbors first. If it is still missing after 3 days, or if tracking has stopped updating for 10+ days, contact us. We will file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund.

🎄 8. Holiday Shipping Deadlines

To ensure your gifts are under the tree by December 25th, please place your orders by these dates:

  • Standard Shipping: Order by December 5th.

  • Personalized Items: Order by December 1st.

  • Express Shipping: Order by December 12th.
