Our granddaughter is 2 years old and she loves it! So cute and fun to play with.
The toaster features a pop up lever and a dial which makes noises when turned. The ‘sliced’ food pieces have hook and loop tape dots attached to them and stick together to make a sandwich filling stack, whilst the butter has two slices that can be cut off. The hook and loop dots seem to be secured well and didn't immediately come off. The knife has a nicely angled pretend blade.
I love the fact that the honey pot has a fabric lid cover tied on with string, introducing different elements of texture but in a plausible way. The strawberry thing is according to the product description supposed to be jam, but to me looks more like a yogurt (drink) - which also works with the brunch theme.
The set is made from nicely sustainable materials, and came packaged with sustainability in mind: with no plastic seals on the outer box, and the pieces to the set wrapped in tissue (with no sellotape holding them closed), this completely avoided unnecessary plastic packaging.
£19.99 price point seems good value for the quality, and range of pieces included
Overall I think this is a fun toy at a good price. I'd recommend it.
